Fire Danger Notification Tree 2016/2017

Click here for the Chewton Bushlands Fire Danger Notification Tree.

Notifications will be sent out on days of SEVERE, EXTREME and CODE RED Fire Danger.

Enact your FIRE PLAN when these conditions exist. Remember it is advisable to LEAVE on those days. In fact it is a must on a CODE RED DAY!

During prolonged periods of high fire danger you may not always get a call. It is up to you to be personally vigilant if conditions persist.
Keep your radio tuned to the local ABC station (91.10). Also keep checking the CFA website www.cfa.vic.gov.au
and/or phone the Bushfire Information Hotline (1 800 240 667) if you have concerns.

If you are going to be away for any extended length of time please call Glen on 0419 337 804.
