I have been to both Laurie and Tony's homes and I found them to be amazing.
I was struck by the wish that all homes would be built with mud brick and what a saving of money, energy and how good for the environment they were.
I enjoyed your article, thank you.

Hopefully, the asset burn will help to keep places from catching on fire. I have heard that controlled burns can help fire from jumping over to places that need to be protected. It would be a shame if the fire burned through towns and homes.

15 of us met to take on the task of taking out the creeper.
It is not an easy job as the plant grows anywhere and everywhere with a particular liking for inaccessible slopes.
Much work was carried out on Lot 12, Jo and Paul Maher's place, and was then continued on Municipal Reserve #1.
We will have to return in a few weeks to see what was missed and to complete the work for this season.
A very big thank you to all those who participated. This is an essential job if we want to keep invasive species out of the Bushlands, and the efforts of the volunteers is greatly appreciated by all.
We now have to come up with the better name for the Reserve...any suggestions anyone?

Sandie and Brian did not adopt. Sandie had a son from a previous marriage. Enjoyed your article.Found it when looking for your address. Thank you all for your card following Brian's passing. Michael, Brian's son has told me he will give you all the "Chewton" stuff which is still at the house.
